DETAILS OF DECK CONSTRUCTION
The existing wood deck was an elevated slab supported by brick post. Bonn Group America was tasked to demolish the existing wood deck and replace it with build a composite deck. The biggest challenge was demolishing the existing slab which was actually embedded 6" inches into the house without the risk of the house possible crumbling. We rented a heavy cutter and cut the slab from the property as careful as possible. After that we then patched the existing area with concrete to make it look cleaner and proceeded with construction. The homeowners choice of materials really made the deck stand out. A project that could have been chaos with wrong engineering. Bonn Group America Construction handled it like champions.
