DETAILS OF DECK CONSTRUCTION
The existing deck was a 2 story deck. With all the support coming from a (2) – 6×6 post & a ledger board. We were tasked to increase the footprint of the deck. An easy project once we figured out what we needed to do with the help of the engineers at Bonn Group America & some architectural plans. We ended up having to brace the post while we swapped the 2×12 beams while adding about (6) a new 6×6 post. A project that could have been chaos with wrong engineering. Bonn Group America Construction handled it like champions.
